Westford House
This historic home boasted a large library with original intricate moldings. Celtic Builders LLC Rebuilt a dining room which in the 1970's had been converted to a play area with fake wood panel walls into what you see here. With a combination of handcraft work on site as well as having molding knives made to replicate the historic trim, we remodeled the area to look as if it were there for 150 yrs. The project was then featured on the Westford Massachusetts Historic Society Tour and had about 300+ visitors the week after completion.
Recently, this project won a Home Builders and Remodelers Association of NH "Cornerstone Award" in the Specialty Rooms Category. Celtic Builders LLC also took home two more awards that night for Handcrafted Finish Work and for Most Unusual Project. Both of those awards came out of our "River House" remodel project.
