The River House.

This began as a small cape with a two car garage. The garage was demolished and a new one with a two story breezeway and master suite above the garage was added. All of the siding was beaded by Celtic on site and the house was made to have a mid 1800's feel to it.

Wide pine and walnut adorn the main living areas, slate and hand crafted tiles were laid in the mud room and bathrooms. The master shower was "built for a king". With multiple shower heads, sprays, and a steamer, this shower could be the most relaxing seat in the house. All windows in the back of the house were made to picture frame the view of the Cocheeco River which runs only 100ft away from the back door.

The master bed lies directly beneath a hand crafted (by celtic) raised panel cupola. The cupola has motorized windows with hidden lights behind the celtic designed crown molding so the light will shine out the windows and not down on those sleeping below.

Recently, this project won a Home Builders and Remodelers Association of NH "Cornerstone Award" Handcrafted Finish Work and Most Unusual Project.
